Description
The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program, Title III of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (41 USC 251, et seq.); Title 40 USC 501, Services for Executive Agencies; and Section 803 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2002 (PL 107-107) and implemented by FAR 8.405-6 and FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Johnson Controls, 507 E Michigan St., Milwaukee, WI 53201. Johnson Controls will provide weekly 8-hour visits for the purposes of assisting on-site personnel with the maintenance and upkeep of the Metasys BAS and monthly 8-hour visits for the purpose of coordinating with our Energy Manager to ensure we are meeting the goals of our energy management plan. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. The St. Louis, Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center is located at 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis, MO 63125. The NAICS code is 334290 with a size standard of 750 Employees. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT February 7, 2022 at 4:30 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required equipment. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C25522Q0134, Notice of Intent. If after February 7, 2022, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Johnson Controls. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
