Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The National Institutes of Health, Division of Veterinary Resources Animal Facilities intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the Super Mouse Micro-isolater Rack System. The filtered supply and exhaust air turbos on the System utilize HEPA Filters that were designed for and only compatible with the existing Lab Products ventilated rack systems. The associated NAICS code for this is 333413. The vendor will be LAB PRODUCTS, 742 Sussex Avenue, Seaford, Delaware 19973. Description of equipment requirements: �BRAND NAME ONLY -LAB PRODUCTS ENVIRO-GARD III HEPA FILTERS �A firm fixed price contract shall be awarded and the Enviro Gard III Filters are proprietary pieces of equipment that can only be purchased through the Lab Products, Inc and there are no resellers of their equipment. �It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 to Ms. Van Holley at holleyv@od.nih.gov
