This is a Special Notice to all Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) contractors and industry partners. (For informational purposes only.) The intent of this Special Notice is to notify the Department of Health and Human Services contractor community of the effective date, February 2, 2022, of the Final Rule of the clause at HHSAR 352.232-71 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. On February 2, 2022, HHS published in the Federal Register the Notice of Final Rule �Electronic Submission and Processing of Payment Requests� to support the Department-wide implementation and transition to electronic invoicing implemented January 17, 2022.
