Description

Update: This notice has been extended. The new due date is now 15 Feb 2022 at 0900 EST. Due to numerous requests to see the job site a site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday 09 Feb 2022 at 0930 EST. The attached ammended solicitation (N4215822QS009 0001) includes the contact information for the sitre visit. This will be the only scheduled site visit.� Per FAR 52.237-1 �Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award�. Previous: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on BETA SAM.GOV (Https://Www.beta.sam.gov/). The RFQ number is N42158-22-Q-S009. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2021-04 effective 19 Jan 2021 and DFARS Change Notice 20210115. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS Code is 238910 (Site Preparation Contractors) and the Small Business Standard is $16.5M. This is a competitive, 100% Small Business Set-Aside procurement action. Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Portsmouth, VA requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: service to dismantle/ remove tow (2) dust collectors and associated ductwork and transport to a designated location within the shipyard for disposal IAW the statement of work contained herein.
