Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Contracts Department (254200D), China Lake, CA is seeking information for potential sources regarding the manufacture, inspection and delivery of a total of 1500 RF Amplifier Single Pull-Quad Throw (SP4T) Switch � NSN: 5985-01-378-6742.� Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) Part Number (P/N) 704AS11215 (base year of 1000 matched sets of RF Amplifiers with 4 one year options of 125 matched sets of RF Amplifier SP4T Switches each).� Extensive market research conducted by NAVAIR engineers found that all potential vendors that were contacted could not provide from existing stock/inventory nor meet the following key form, fit, function requirements: 1) single package design, 2) operating frequency range needed, and 3) the proper bias current for the switch.� To potential vendors, all of these are key requirements.� Since the AGM-88C Guidance Section is late 1970s and early 1980s technology, performance and package requirements are not flexible.�� Potential vendors must consider qualification associated with newer technology. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any opportunities exist. The Government will consider all information received via email to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer by 17 February 2022 at 3:00 PM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. No telephone responses will be accepted. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893622R0016 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm�s experience, assets, background, and ability to manufacture and deliver the required products without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, or delivery schedule. Written responses to this sources sought notice shall be submitted by e-mail to the point(s) of contact listed above no later than 3:00 PM PST on 02/17/2022.
