- The proposed contract action is for maintenance and upkeep of entire infrastructure at Lake�Mendocino/Coyote Valley Dam�s flood control project, campgrounds, and day use areas, which the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San Francisco District intend to solicit to CALFIRE under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (iii) The circumstances of the contract action deem�only one source reasonably available due to: only one responsible source and no other supplies or�services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for site assessment support and technical support for the Lava Cap site under the EPA Region 9 Superfund Program, which the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San Francisco District intends to solicit with Jacobs Engineering Group under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(c) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) . Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, all information received after date of publication of this synopsis may be considered by the Government. Interested suppliers shall respond to this notice by providing the following information: 1. Organization Name. 2. Address. 3. Point of Contact for information with telephone number and email address. 4. Cage Code, and 5. Capabilities information/statement showing that the organization has the ability and jurisdiction to fulfill the Government requirement. The contractor must be able to comply with all requirements described herein to be considered capable. Purchase Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform support tasksincluding project management, data management and review, and review and analysis of of technical reports on site conditions, and except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. Period of Performance:� 12 Months This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests for a copy of the solicitation will not be honored. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. All responses received will be considered. If no affirmative written response is received, the supply contract will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed supply contract is based on the authorities necessary to provide the supplies described herein. Award of this contract will be based upon the possible responses to this notice, and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
