- Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 intends to solicit and award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price, FSS task order with Olympus America, Inc. (3500 Corporate PKWY, Center Valley, PA 18034) in accordance with the Multiple-Award Schedule Program 41 U.S.C. 152(3) and 40 U.S.C. 501, as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B) Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The contract anticipated effective date is March 1, 2022 for a period of one year with two option years. This requirement includes an option to purchase equipment. This FSS task order is for the Original Equipment Manufacturer to lease to the Government Olympus High-Definition Cystoscopes CYF/HYF Video as well as maintain and repair the equipment as required. Leased equipment will be utilized at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Audie L. Murphy Memorial Hospital (7400 Merton Minter, San Antonio, TX 78229). The NAICS code is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. This is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
