Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.201 and 5.207, this synopsis is published for informational purposes only. �No response to this posting is required. � The Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) requests a sustainment contract for the Army CDL/SATCOM Program. The proposed contract will procure Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for sustainment of the Army CDL/SATCOM to include maintenance and upgrades of existing systems, the procurement of new technology, equipment, and spares for continued sustainment, and support of the Army Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Mission. �The place of performance for the effort encompasses worldwide locations. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract will be utilized with a five year base ordering period and a five year option ordering period. � The requirement�s task orders will utilize the contract types of Cost-Plus-Fixed- Fee (CPFF), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), and Cost-Contract (cost no fee).� The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a sole source award to L3Harris Technologies Communications Systems West (L3H) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to L3Harris Technologies Communication Systems West. �L3H is the only source available to support Army CDL/SATCOM requirements � �based on the proprietary knowledge that only L3H possesses. L3H is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and therefore owns the necessary intellectual property and technical data rights The effort will utilize North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334220 and Product Service Code R425. �The anticipated award date is August 2022. �All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. � � Response to this synopsis is required no later than February 17, 2022 5:00pm Eastern. �All information submitted should support the interested party�s ability to provide the items and services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. �Responses must be in writing and submitted via email to Anh Pena, Contracting Officer, Anh.H.Pena.Civ@Army.mil and Yadira Colon Yadira.I.Colon.Civ@Army.mil. �
