Description
This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the following Selected Spare Parts which are part of the Truck Mounted Electric Power Plant III (EPP III) used with the PATRIOT Missile Defense System, NSNs include: 6115-12-341-6789 (PN: 130.03.0063 CAGE: D0857) � GENERATOR, ALTERNATING CURRENT 2920-12-345-5330 (PN: 360.08.0051 CAGE: D0857) � ROTOR, GENERATOR 5840-12-341-7003 (PN: 420.02.0559 CAGE: D0857) � POWER DISTRIBUTION UNIT 2815-12-341-6896 (PN: 280.06.0071 CAGE: D0857) � ENGINE, DIESEL The EPP III is the main electric power source for the PATRIOT Missile Defense System and the selected spare parts have been identified for maintenance and sustainment purposes. This acquisition is for a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The forecast for each NSN ranges from 1-45 per year over five years. The minimum dollar amount for the full five-year IDIQ is estimated to be around $1M with a maximum cost estimate of $29M. The current source for these selected spare parts is VINCORION-JENOPTIK power Systems GmbH, CAGE: D0857, in Altenstadt, Germany. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate, by writing via email to scott.h.mahoney4.civ@army.mil. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply, and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as a copy of a purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with these parts from the supplier listed above. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
