- 2) Question: Section 08 41 13 Aluminum framed entrances and storefronts, paragraph I.3 discusses blast design criteria. Are any of the doors aluminum doors and windows blast rated? If so, please identify each door and its associated blast rating. Answer: Blast rating is not required. 3) Question: Are there existing auto operators to be removed at doors scheduled to receive new auto operators? Is there existing power at the locations scheduled to receive new auto operators? Is the existing power supply compatible with the new auto operators? If there is no power at doors schedule for auto operators, where is power fed from? Answer: Yes, Yes, Yes, N/A. 4) Question: Are Physical access control (PACs) keypad/card readers required at any of the door openings? If so, please provide information on the existing PACs system. Answer: No 5) Question: Are contractor badges required at this facility? Answer: Yes 6) Question: Is a construction fence required for this project? Answer: No 7) Question: There are no window details, please provide details showing flashing, exterior envelope assembly, windowsills, etc. Answer: Use manufacture s recommendation. 8) Question: Section 08 41 13 does not identify a specific manufacturer. Please provide basis of design for aluminum storefront assemblies. Answer: Replace to match existing. 9) Question: Drawing page 2 of 3 item 17 states that the contractor may not move on to another door before one opening is complete. Answer: Yes, that is correct. 10) Question: The solicitation document did not call out an infection control risk assessment (ICRA) requirement. Please confirm if this will be required? Answer: Yes.
