- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposal or quote and does no obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. This notice is to assist the NCO 15 in determining sources only. This announcement is not a request for proposals or quotations. The Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of information in response to this announcement. Questions and responses must be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m. (CST) on February 18, 2022 to donald.hannah@va.gov. **NOTE THIS IS SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY AND NO AWARD WILL BE MADE FROM THIS POSTING** STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT The VA St. Louis Healthcare System (VASTLHCS) requires additional equipment which consist of the Vericor Triage and Treatment System which will be deployed at the VASTLHCS Federal Coordinating Center (FCC) in the event of a national incident, disaster, or wartime efforts where patients will be received at the Patient Reception Center (PRC). Where deployed, as patients depart the plane VASTLHCS staff will have walking wounded and non-ambulatory stations. In these areas is where additional care will have to be provided. This system will provide the clinical staff, both nurses and doctors to provide the triage care needed prior to transporting received patients to local area hospitals.
