- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) No. 70B03C22Q00000050 Medical, Dental, and Surgical Supplies and Equipment U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its organizational components require medical supplies for federal personnel who perform emergency medical services and personal protective equipment (PPE) for its operational and pandemic mission-critical needs.� The items required are grouped into five categories:� general medical supplies, AEDs and heart monitors, medical supply kits, personal protective equipment (PPE), and clinical/dental supplies.� The DHS organizational components and subcomponents that require these supplies include: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Federal Protective Service (FPS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) U.S. Secret Service (USSS) This is an RFI released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 � Market Research. This purpose of this RFI is to obtain market information on viable sources of supply, to obtain answers to specific questions, and to solicit feedback from industry. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation.� Interested vendors are not required to respond to this RFI in order to submit a quote in response to any future solicitation that is issued, but are strongly encouraged to do so, as information received will inform the agency's acquisition strategy. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this RFI.� Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. No solicitation exists at this time; therefore, please do not request a copy of the solicitation. It is the responsibility of any potential quoter to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. The NAICS code applicable to this RFI is 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 750 employees.�� Instructions to Respondents:� All capable and qualified sources are encouraged to respond to this request.� Respondents are requested to provide all information requested in the attached RFI Questionnaire and Medical Supplies List, which contains a detailed list of items required by the Government.� Responses should include the following: A completed RFI questionnaire (Tab 1 of the spreadsheet) Answers to the questions listed for Categories 1 through 5.� The columns that must be completed are highlighted in blue.
