- BIOSAFETY CONSULTANCY SERVICES REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04, effective 01/30/2022. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Business. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey - Western Fisheries Research Center in Seattle, WA requires Biosafety Consultancy Services as described in the attached Statement of Work. The USGS requires a base year three options. All services will be performed at the vendor office with site visits to USGS laboratories in Seattle and Nordland, WA. RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, and associated size standard $16.50 million apply to this announcement, along with Product Service Code F115, Environmental Systems Protection - Environmental Consulting. All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 03/02/2022 at 1200 PST. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 03/07/2022 at 0600 PST. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerers are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors as seen in the Attachment. This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary.
