This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Solicitation, an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. All information received in response to this RFI marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. PURPOSE: The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to find qualified vendors and to assist Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 in determining if a future contract effort can be competitively awarded on a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside basis. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 334510 with the Small Business Size Standard of 1250 Employees. If the Government determines there are qualified vendors for this requirement, a solicitation will be published and posted on the Contracting Opportunities website. The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement. INTRODUCTION: This requirement is for the procurement of the CARDIAC CINE VI IMAGING SOFTWARE. This software will allow Hampton VA Medical Center Radiology/Imaging department to offer non-invasive screening services decreasing the number of veterans sent to the community, increasing access, providing timely care, while improving image quality and enhancing patient outcomes. The government is anticipating that this will be a brand-name requirement but encourages all vendors that can meet or exceed the item descriptions below to respond to this source sought. If providing a like item/system, please include attachments, information, and part numbers to allow the government to assess whether your items/system will suffice for this requirement. DESCRIPTION QUANTITY UNIT 1) 14456227 CS Cardiac Cine #Vi This option enables the BEAT sequence to perform highly accelerated 2D Cardiac Cine examinations based on a Compressed Sensing technique. It allows higher temporal resolution imaging in real time or in segmented mode, without compromising on spatial resolution. Protocols are provided for full coverage of the heart within a single breath-hold for Quantitative functional assessment. In real-time mode, it is robust against arrhythmia and breathing artifacts. 1 EA 2) 14418746 Cardiac Dot Engine, USA #T+D Cardiac examinations: Dot Cardiac - Customized workflows that are easier to repeat. Using anatomical landmarks, standard views of the heart (such as dedicated long axis and short-axis views), are easily generated and can easily be reproduced using different scanning techniques. Scan parameters are adjusted to the patient's heart rate and automatic voice commands are given. 1 EA 3) 14446385 MyoMaps # 3T This package contains special sequences and protocols for inline T1 and T2 calculation at the heart. The generation of T1 and T2 parametric maps are enhanced by the use of motion correction. T1 and T2 parametric maps could be used to support assessment of cardiovascular disease. 1 EA 4) 08464740 Flow Quantification #Tim Special sequences for quantitative assessment of flow i 1 EA 5) 14460183 syngo.MR Cardio Engine #1 The syngo.MR Cardio Engine bundles the following features for Cardiac evaluation: - syngo.MR Cardiac 4D Ventricular Function - syngo.MR Cardiac Flow 1 EA 6) MR_ADD_24 Additional onsite training 24 hours Up to (24) hours of on-site clinical education training, scheduled consecutively (Monday -Friday) during standard business hours for a maximum of (4) imaging professionals. Training will cover agenda items on the ASRT approved checklist if applicable. This educational offering must be completed (12) months from install end date. If training is not completed within the applicable time period, Siemen s obligation to provide the training will expire without refund. 1 EA Vendors with a GSA schedule shall provide the contract number of that schedule and the expiration date as well as product NAICS codes.
