REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Title: United States Mint Storage and Booth Convention set-up.� Process: Storage, Delivery and Set-up booth Response Due Date for Questions: February 28, 2022; Noon EST. Response Due Date for RFI: March 7, 2022; Noon EST. This announcement is issued for informational and acquisition planning purposes only. This Request for Information (RFI) is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately to award a contract based on this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Responses to the RFI will not serve as proposals, bids, or offers, which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. BACKGROUND The United States Mint (Mint) is committed to using its� products and services as a vehicle to educate the American public about the history and rich diversity of this country.� The Mint manufactures circulating coins to meet our nation�s commerce needs, and promotes interest in the artistry and collection of U.S. coinage.� The artistic and historical value of U.S. coinage is further enhanced by the popularity of the United States Mint coin sets, silver and gold products. Ceremonial launches and other promotional events have been successful in maintaining visibility of the Mint�s programs and products.� In an effort to widen its� reach, the Mint participates between eight to twelve convention shows a year in different cities of the United States. The Mint unites people with an interest in coins, paper currency, medals, history, investing, and related subjects.� These convention shows are family events and provide a multitude of activities and educational displays targeted at the full range of coin collectors�from the casually interested to the dedicated numismatic collector.� The Mint�s booth spaces mostly ranges from 20� x 20� and as large as 50� x 50�. �Each convention the size of the booth will be provided, based on the floor space provided by the convention.� The Mint is typically set-up against the wall at each convention location for additional security. OBJECTIVES The Mint seeks an offeror who can provide storage, installing and dismantling services to an upscale, custom designed show booth for multiple national coin shows to support the marketing and branding initiatives, as well as separate the Mint�s from its competition as the manufacturing leader of all circulating and numismatic. The Mint�s goal is to be able to continue to demonstrate, display, provides excellent customer service while developing an interactive activities that will attract continuous interest.� Collectors comes to the Mint booth for an opportunity to see the exhibit, view new products, purchase numismatic items, get information about the Mint�s education initiative, and gather information about the bureau and its programs.� PRODUCT/COMPONENTS Booth is a custom build scalable (20x20 � 50x50) island exhibit built in 2018. Current setup will be provided to all vendors. Booth was built in such a way that it accommodates the ability to display collectible coins, products and packaging. Booth must allow Sales Associates to show products and interacts with the customers comfortably. Booth is consist of good lighting that can draw attention to unique parts of the booth�s structures or graphics. Therefore, the set-up must be in such a way that lights are placed around the edge of display cases to provide consistent backlighting without interfering with the object. COMPONENTS: Storage Rooms and Large Wall - Modular storage area / conference room comprised of aluminum framing and sintra graphic panels - 12� x 8� large wall comprised of aluminum framing with tension fabric graphic on front, sintra graphic panels on back ID Tower - Quantity: 2 - Aluminum framing with printed lexan backdrop graphic, sintra accent graphic - Display areas Reception Desk - Quantity: 1 - Plywood and laminate construction Cash Wrap / Check Out Register - Quantity: 1 - Plywood and laminate construction - Adhesive vinyl lettering - Small counter attachment Customer Service Counter - Quantity: 4 - Plywood and laminate construction Display Case - Quantity: 4 - Plywood and laminate construction - Lockable glass top - Lighting Pedestal - Quantity: 1 - Assumes dimensions are 12� x 12� x 4� tall - Plywood and laminate construction Crates - For shipping and storage SERVICE REQUIREMENTS The Mint seeks an offer who has the ability to provide long-term storage in a safe, secure and dry environment. The proposal must include under a separate line items the cost for estimated annual storage, transportation cost to each show provided, and setup and teardown cost.� The vendor must exhibit the capability to contract with the necessary vendors the on-site assembly and dismantling of the booth at the conventions. Selected vendors must include as part of the proposal storage cases required for the safe, secure storage and transport of the booth. All cases must include a label and should be clearly marked for inventory purposes. Selected vendors must exhibit the capability to coordinate on behalf of the Mint the shipment of booth to and from the venue. And, as part of the proposal detail how billing and billing verification for second-party services are typically reported and handled. Selected vendors must exhibit the capability to provide a pre-show check of the booth to assure the integrity of the booth and its contents to the U.S. Mint personnel. Selected vendor must exhibit the capability to provide a post-show report of any damages, concerns, etc. requiring the Mint�s immediate attention upon return of the booth to the vendor�s storage location. Selected vendor will be required to consult with the Mint�s point of contact, when required, for answering questions such as proper electrical requirements, etc. The Mint will arrange and is responsible to pay for items such as this. Vendor is welcome to address service options and typical fees for handling coordination for items such as electricity, carpet, additional furniture, etc. VALUE-ADDED SERVICES The vendor should include, as an option, any value-added services or products beyond the scope of this requirements that it feels would be beneficial to the Mint and provide an advantage to their company in the selection process. PRODUCT DELIVERY Vendor must specify and make a part of the proposal, the number of calendar days required for delivery of equipment after award to each convention. The first show the United States Mint is planning to participate this year will be held in Baltimore, MD. The delivery date and time of 8:30 a.m. on March 30, 2022 at the Baltimore Convention Center located at 1 West Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.� Additional list of all shows will be provide. SUBMITTALS: Interested vendors shall provide no more than a 5 page capability statement, inclusive of any pictures, graphs, or charts with a font size no smaller than 9 in Arial or Times Roman font that identifies their: 1.� Contact information, 2.� Capabilities of their organization and key personnel (project manager(s)) to perform the requirements described. 3.� Experience with industry best practices for storage, transportation and logistics, set up and teardown business processes. Responses submitted will assist the Government in its market research to determine the availability of commercial sources in determining an acquisition strategy.�� Interested vendors shall submit their RFI responses electronically to Colleen Grinnell by March 7, 2022; by noon Eastern Time.� All electronic materials and attachments submitted shall be formatted in accordance with the Bureau of the Fiscal Service�s Security Requirements.� The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be opened: .bat, .cmd, .com, .exe, .pif, .rar, .scr, .vbs, .hta, .cpl, html, mhtml, and .zip files No other information regarding this Sources Sought Notice will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach.� All vendors responding to this notice are advised that their response is not an offer that will be considered for contract award.� All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant solicitation separately from their response to this notice. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.� A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this Notice.�
