- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting Market Research for NX Mach Software Maintenance Support.� This is not a solicitation but rather a Request for Information/Sources Sought to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for planning purposes only. The FAA is conducting this market analysis to determine any capability of supporting the ARSR-4 and CARSR radar system mechanical design datasets produced using the Siemens NX software suite. �Any offering must be natively 100% compatible�no data conversions required� with existing Siemens NX design and analysis datasets produced in past projects for over 20 years. The offering must provide all functions of the Siemens NX software suite, including 3D modeling capabilities, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Dynamic analysis (NASTRAN), 2D Drafting, configuration management, and workflow management. Training for the any new platform will be required for all engineers. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541511. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition, and multiple awards may be made. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
