Description

The Fort Hood Health Contracting Cell, Regional Health Contracting Office � Central, Army Health Contracting Activity, MEDCOM, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Omnicell, Inc, an other than small business, under authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.� This is for the non-personal service of medical maintenance for the Government owned Omnicell Medication Management System. This is to support Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH) at Fort Riley, Kansas, 66442-4030.� This system is located at various pharmacy facilities throughout the IACH system.� Award will be on or about 21 March 2022.� The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219, �Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance�. �The Small Business Size Standard is $22M. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the non-personal service of medical maintenance for the Government owned Omnicell Medication Management System. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. The Fort Hood Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to make a sole source award to Omnicell, Inc, 590 E. Middlefield Rd., Mountain View, CA, 94043-4008.
