Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Notice Type:� Special Notice:� Narrative The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract to ETC International Logistics Support to upgrade two (2) Spatial Disorientation Vestibular Simulator (GAT HELO) units located at the Good Hand Simulator Complex (Building 5102), Fort Rucker, Al.� This requirement is to modify the existing cockpit instrument configuration and the aeromodel to one that represents that of the LUH-72 helicopter producing an immersive sense and flight orientation similar to that of LUH-72 within the scope of spatial disorientation training. Award will be made on or about 10 March 2021. The primary NAICS code for the requirement is 811219 with a size standard of $22M. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i): Only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization). This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
