Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. DBA SWS Vidmarlista, 11 Grammes Road, Allentown, PA 18103. This supply requirement is for Stanley Black & Decker cabinets and shelves, Part numbers: BKA33/SDDBKA33, PRXA05191F & RP3578A. Stanley Black & Decker owns the drawings for these required cabinets and shelves. These cabinets and shelves are vital to the Tobyhanna Army Depot, (TYAD), Electronic Shelter Vehicle (ESV) program. Stanley Black & Decker�s meticulous design of these cabinets and TYAD�s engineering of their shelters coincide with the exact specifications and dimensions of each other. The Government intends to acquire this supply under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly under the authority of FAR 13.106?1(b)(1). This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. However, if any interested party that can provide this supply, without compromising manufacturing delivery, warranty or mark ups, you may submit a statement of capabilities that may be considered by Tobyhanna Army Depot.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and it is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The capability statement, a price list and any other information furnished must be via email only and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can meet the requirements. Capability statements and related materials must be e-mailed to Melissa Hoffman at Melissa.hoffman4.civ@army.mil by 10:00 AM EST on March 17, 2022.
