Description
THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER, DRAFT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND A DRAFT PRICING SCHEDULE ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS NOTICE. The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Division of Acquisitions is issuing a Pre-solicitation Notice announcement to seek potential Small Business sources who would be interested in the Wapato Headworks Rehabilitation Project in Yakima County, Washington. This notice is to identify small businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction) and the small business size standard is $39.5M. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in heavy and civil engineering construction projects (excluding highway, street, bridge, and distribution line construction). The work performed may include new work, reconstruction, rehabilitation, and repairs. Specialty trade contractors are included in this industry if they are engaged in activities primarily related to heavy and civil engineering construction projects (excluding highway, street, bridge, distribution line, oil and gas structure, and utilities building and structure construction). Construction projects involving water resources (e.g., dredging and land drainage), development of marine facilities, and projects involving open space improvement (e.g., parks and trails) are included in this industry. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with this Pre-solicitation announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. It is requested that only those that meet the definition of these categories submit a response to this notice. Send your capabilities statement to include your DUNS number, description of your specialties, contact information (business name, contact person, phone number, and email address), and bonding capabilities. See Attachment 1 - Technical Specifications for Wapato Headworks Rehabilitation, and Attachment 2 � Draft Pricing Schedule for additional information. More detailed information pertaining to this project will be provided when the solicitation package is posted to SAM.gov. Any interest and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and letter of interest to William McLaughlin via email to William.mclaughlin@bia.gov.
