Description

This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Request for Proposal (RFP).� Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products described in this RFI.� Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider.� You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI.� This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract.� No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort.� The information provided may be used by the Army in developing its acquisition strategy. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response.� The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI.� The response date for this RFI is 15 days from date of RFI/Sources Sought issuance. Contract Description:� The objective of this acquisition is for the manufacturing and delivery of modernized spares, which includes Unclassified and Classified Authorized Stockage List (ASL), Prescribed Load List (PLL) and Spare Parts for Communications Equipment for the Kuwait PATRIOT Fire Units of the Supplemental Spares associated with the PATRIOT Program for the country of Kuwait. The contractor shall produce and deliver Kuwait PATRIOT Program spares packages as specified in a Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall provide updated part numbers for any affected PATRIOT components associated with deliveries. All such part number updates will be incorporated into Attachment A under a bilateral contract modification. The contractor shall maintain existing assets to support integration, testing and production. Period of Performance (PoP): 1 October 2022 �� 30 September 2026 Interested firms who believe they are capable of providing the above-mentioned services are invited to indicate their interest by providing: Company name, company address, overnight delivery address (if different from mailing address), Cage Code, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number Business size (i.e., large, small disadvantaged, veteran-owned, woman-owned, etc.) Affirmation of cleared personnel and facilities. A description of the company�s expertise in providing advisory and assistance as well as field support services to the PATRIOT System in support of Kuwait. A description of your company�s capabilities and assets necessary to fulfill the services/spares requested. A description of your company�s ability to operate as a business in Kuwait, as well as obtain personnel with the appropriate expertise who also are bilingual in English and Arabic languages. All assumptions, including any assumed Government support, shall be clearly identified.� All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked. The Government will not reimburse contractors or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding, or any subsequent exchange of information.� All responses shall be no longer than five pages, and transmitted electronically to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Curtis Wilson, at e-mail curtis.d.wilson2.civ@army.mil, no later than 5:00 p.m. CST on the dated as indicated by the Contracting Office.� No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. Responses will not be returned nor be considered by the Government as offers.
