- Description
- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested partys expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP that may be issued. The Air Force A4 Directorate of Force Protection is converting legacy criminal history records to digital format for improved data analysis and long-term storage. This contract requires a very high degree of reliability and accuracy. The scanned records must be fully Optical Character Recognition (OCR), key fields must be independently verified by a human to confirm they scanned correctly, and the digital record must be indexed to allow for rapid integration by a DAF records management system. Once accepted by the government, the digital record will become the official criminal history record and retained for 75-years. The government requires a Contractor with a proven track record of high performance in large, highly sensitive (PII and LEI) paper to digital records scanning projects. Capability statements should be submitted in Microsoft Word compatible format and are due no later than 21, March 2022, 2:00pm EDT. Capability statements should be submitted via email to 1Lt Richard Snyder at richard.snyder.12@us.af.mil and SrA Kelante Montgomery at kelante.montgomery@us.af.mil.
