- Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov/content/home). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: ������������� Caldor Fire Gates Installation Project: This project consists of fabricating and installing 16 gates on forest roads to support the Caldor Fire Closure order. Additionally, one existing gate will be reset or straightened in current location (if possible). Project Location: Throughout the El Dorado National Forest.� Exact locations and coordinates will be provided with the solicitation posting. Solicitation Number 127EAW22R0028�for this effort will be posted to Beta.Sam.Gov (https://beta.sam.gov/) on or about March 28th, 2022.� This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.
