Description
Industry leaders, Welcome and thank you for reaching out for information on the 2022 Air National Guard (ANG) Domestic Capabilities Priorities (DCP) Conference! Overview: The 2022 ANG DCP Conference has been approved for 2-6 May 22 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, in Denver, CO. During that week, Tuesday and Wednesday (3-4 May) have time allotted for industry engagement. This years conference will follow the same hybrid construct as last year whereby essential in-person attendance (~50) will be limited to designated NGB Staff, Emergency Support Function (ESF) Chairs and Co-Chairs, and NGB A-staff Action Officer Facilitators. All other attendees (~267) will participate virtually. Vendors may choose to attend in-person, virtually, or both. DCP Objective: The objective of DCP is an identification of critical capability gaps that serve as the foundation for many resource allocation decisions at NGB, particularly for the use of the National Guard and Reserve Equipment Account (NGREA) funds. Booking: Interested industry vendors should interface directly with the hotel for additional information, rooms and exhibit space; please identify yourself as a vendor when contacting the Denver Marriott Tech Center Director of Events, Ms. Iman Aden at 303-689-2568 or iman.aden2@marriott.com. For DCP specific questions, Mr. Bill Hawley (NGB/A5P) (william.hawley.10@us.af.mil) may be contacted to help/facilitate as needed. Industry Showroom Planning:Vendors desiring to display and discuss their products and capabilities to the conference attendees are welcome to do so on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3-4 May 22, between 1100 AM to 1830 PM MST. Vendors are not considered DCP conference attendees and therefore will not be allowed entry into the government breakout sessions. New for this year: On Monday, 2 May at 3:00-3:15 MT (pending time confirmation), ANG will host a Vendor brief in the main conference meeting room for your company reps to attend and hear first-hand NGB/A5 Acquisition activities and updates. Leveraging a best practice from last year, whereby virtual participants were able to view product demonstrations via a live-streamed feed, the intent is to build upon that capability and provide *all DCP participants* a published Industry Demo Schedule ahead of DCP. The end result will be a library of vendor demonstrations organized by the Emergency Support Function (ESF) they most closely support. All DCP participants (virtual and in-person) will be able to view this product and simply click a hyperlink* to attend demonstrations of interest virtually. Again, for awareness, there will only be ~50 in-person attendees able to physically attend demonstrations in the showroom as time permits during DCP. Most (~267 people) will be attending virtually. The DCP Planning Team will distribute the overall product/schedule to all registered attendees prior to the conference week. To participate in this *opportunity (not required!)*, vendors will need to provide Mr. Bill Hawley the following NLT 18 Mar 22. Company name Point of contact information for the demo Review the attached DCP ESF template and assign your demo to an ESF that it most closely supports. Provide a *no more than* 5 sentence overview of your demonstrated product(s) that you want prospective viewers to know what you are presenting and how it supports the proposed ESF. Propose a schedule for your demonstrations *and* the associated hyperlink that *you* will provide for participants to click and attend as desired. NOTE: Per the DCP working group agenda, the primary hours that government DCP attendees will have to attend product demonstrations will be between 1100 AM to 1830 PM (MST) on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3-4 May 22. ***Connectivity Consideration*** To ensure your product demonstration is seamless, virtual demonstration providers may want to consider bringing their own dedicated WiFi hardware as a means of ensuring sufficient connectivity rather than rely exclusively on provided WiFi from the hotel. ***Hyperlink Consideration*** To ensure DoD participants are best postured to access the hyperlinks to your product demonstration, please consider the virtual communication apps suite most easily accessed via government computers (e.g. MS Teams, ZoomGov). If you are not able to use these apps, then please specify/guide prospective attendees how you would like them to access your presentation. ***Hyperlink Dry Run*** If desired, please feel free to coordinate a hyperlink dry run with Mr. Bill Hawley (NGB/A5P) (william.hawley.10@us.af.mil). Disclaimer: This is NOT a bidders conference and this announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind by the Air National Guard. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any vendor for presentations, marketing efforts, or data offered for examination. The cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
