Description

The Department of Labor (DOL) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) expects to award a sole source contract for the New Core Financial Management System (NCFMS) Integration in accordance with FAR services for Base Period of 5 months from the date of the award. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement is FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C), the proposed Task Order will be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an already issued Task Order. � The following is a synopsis and explanation for this requirement: The OCFO requests a new Task Order award under the Alliant 2 Government-wide Acquisition Contract to obtain contractor services to support the New Core Financial Management System (NCFMS) integration with the Unified Management System (UMS). This is a sole source notice of intent published for informational purposes only, not a request for proposals. Therefore, no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement, including costs/prices, by 5:00 pm ET by April 5, 2022, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via e-mail, to Kelly Graves, Contract Specialist, at Graves.kelly.2@dol.gov and NaShaunte Graham, Contracting Officer, at Graham.NaShaunte.J@dol.gov. The determination not to compete the contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All questions or comments regarding this notice shall be addressed in writing to Graves.kelly.2@dol.gov and Graham.NaShaunte.J@dol.gov.
