Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is hereby soliciting proposals for the consideration of a contract award from interested offerors for the repair of creek crossing bridge located in Hawkins Field Airport near Jackson, MS in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and other attachments contained herein. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.� FAA PROPOSAL FORMAT REQUIRED Offerors are cautioned that offers submitted in any other format than described in Section L of the Screening Information Request (SIR) document will be determined �Not Fully Responsive� to this announcement and will not be eligible for contract award consideration. Offerors are highly encouraged to refer to Section L in the SIR document during their final reviews of proposals prior to submission. The POC of this announcement wishes to stress the following: Ensure that all highlighted areas throughout the SIR are filled out. Areas requiring attention have been highlighted for your conveneince. Required representations and certifications in Section K are sometimes overlooked by offerors. Ensure that Organizational Experience Questionnaires submitted with proposals meet the minimum requirements stated in L.4 on page 52 of the SIR.� - Two forms are required that include one project per form.� - All blocks must be filled in and all data must be accurate, current, and complete. - Both projects must have been underway or completed within the last three years from the closing date of the SIR.� - Both projects must be valued over $100,000.00.� The FAA reserves the right to cancel this requirement at any time and without notice to offerors. This is a competitive solicitation for a FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) contract. As such, any proposals received that takes exception to the terms and conditions in this solicitation, or otherwise indicates within their proposal that their proposed pricing is not all inclusive of all risk is therefore neither firm, nor fixed. Such proposed pricing cannot be evaluated at face value in a competitive environment and will, therefore, be determined ineligible for a contract award. Any activities or costs associated with offerors proposal development and submission thereof is at the risk of the offeror and will not be reimbursed by the FAA. SITE VISIT Instructions to schedule a Site Visit are contained in the SIR document and the SOW. � AWARD DECISION A single contract award to perform this requirement is anticipated to be made to the offeror with the lowest priced quote received on or before the aforementioned due date that can be determined responsible and has submitted a proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Offerors in Section L of the SIR document. The anticipated award date for this requirement is approximately May 12, 2022. � QUESTIONS Questions about this requirement are due not later than 5:00PM on April 6, 2022, but may be submitted at any time prior to this date to the FAA Contracting Officer via email at Joshua.d.huckeby@faa.gov.
