Description

This solicitaion is being amended to incorporate the Period of Performance. This is to be awarded as a four year contract. 4/1/2022-3/31/2026 _ Additionally to incorporate NAICS�811219 vs the previously list.� The Indian Health Service (IHS), Portland Area Office intends to issue a single source, firm-fixed price service contract to Cepheid in Sunnyvale,California. The proposed service contract is for the requirement, transportation, and parts (excluding non-Cepheid parts required to�perform repair and Preventive Maintenance (PM). Equipment will bemaintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer. To provide new test kits, maintenance, and repair services for Cepheid GeneXpert instruments in accordance with manufacturer�s warrantee or compromise 24/7 testing accuracy�The Cepheid GeneXpert analyzers provides results for molecular patient testing in the clinical laboratory testing necessary for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease or impairment or assessment of health, providing information for clinical decision. Services, maintenance, and repairs are proprietary in nature. Manufacturer only certifies employee field service engineers to perform service and maintenance on the analyzers. Reagents are only manufactured by Cepheid. This is to support the Portland Indian Health Service Units in the COVID-19 Response. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-05 dated March 07, 2022.� The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors � Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
