Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.� Construction �ADA Accessible Dock at Riggs Lake Description:� USDA Forest Service, Coronado National Forest, Safford Ranger District, has a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for � Construction: Removal and Construction of ADA accessible Dock at Riggs Lake Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, and other associated work necessary to complete work according to the drawings and specifications. Scope of work includes: ��������������� �������������� Removal of existing stacked block pier ��������������� �������������� Construction a new masonry and concrete pier. �������������� Installation of Trex Signature Series Aluminum Railing. �������������� Furnish and installation of three Pilot Rock benches. This work shall consist of providing quality control in conformance with the inspection of construction provisions of this contract to ensure compliance with the drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tests, and reports necessary to meet the requirements of this specification. Location:� Work will take place at Riggs Lake Campground which is in the Pinale�o Mountains south of the town of Safford and is within the Safford Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest in Graham County, Arizona. The project site may be accessed using Swift Trail (AZ-366) which begins at U.S. 191, 7 miles south of Safford, or 28 miles north of Exit 2 off I-10. The lake is located approximately 35 miles from the junction of AZ-366 with U.S. 191. AZ-366 is a two-lane road which is paved for 23 miles, then dirt for 12 miles. The mountain road has numerous switchbacks. The coordinates for the lake are Latitude= 32.707424�and the Longitude= -109.965013� (Section 26, Township 8 South, Range 23 East). All work under this contract is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Act. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Best Value � Tradeoffs.� Basis for Award: Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.� The Small business Size Standard is $16.5 Million under NAICS code 238990. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100.000. Davis-Bacon wages apply. Payment & Performance bonds are required for contracts over $30,000. Site Visit/Pre-bid meeting has not been scheduled at this time The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after April 15, 2022, and will be posted at�https://beta.sam.gov/ To be eligible for award of a Federal Contract, potential vendors need to already be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov Offers or responses to the solicitation (include the solicitation number in the name of the document) may be sent to the Contracting officer by email: A Request for Quotes (RFQ) for this acquisition will be released on or about April 15, 2022, and will close on or about May 17, 2022.� It is anticipated that the contract will begin on or about May 30, 2022.� This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to perform the construction, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs as described above. This Pre-solicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.�� Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Pre-solicitation Notice. �All costs associated with responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. �Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. �Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract.
