Description
The purpose of amendment 0003 is to: A. Provide responses to Industry questions: 1. Clarify the frequency of deliveries that will be required and the quantities for each delivery as well as how often these events occur. Government Response: Initial delivery required would be approximately one full truckload, which will include cool down of the tank and completely filing the tank to capacity. Loads after initial delivery would be approximately 5000 to 7500 gallons each test run. In addition, a delivery maybe required the day before a run and another delivery after the test run. The Government anticipates 6 months of testing per year with 5 hot fires a week, or approximately 120 �test runs�. Customer anticipates initial small runs will consume 1500 gallons of product. 2. How many gallons of Liquid Hydrogen are consumed per hour? Government Response: Gallons of Liquid Hydrogen consumed per hour is unknown. 3. How many hours does the Liquid Hydrogen test run last? Government Response: Each test run takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and consumes roughly 5000 to 7500 gallons of product. 4. Confirmed Liquid Hydrogen quantity in solicitation is accurate. Government Response: Liquid Hydrogen quantities of 1,188,330 LB over a three-year period is accurate. Quantities listed in the solicitation are Government estimates. ****Note: For reference, a full load of Liquid Hydrogen is approximately 18,000 gallons.**** B. The solicitation closing date was not extended. The solicitation will close 15 April 2022, at 2:00 PM Central Daylight Time (CMT). C. See attached SF-30 for full details.�
