- Request for Information (RFI)��RFI#: 22-1200-000022 Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Finance and Facilities Division (FFD) Cable Installation Services�(Data/Telecommunication) Due Date: March 15, 2022 PURPOSE The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking capability statements from interested sources for the Professional Support Services - details included in the attachment.��This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFQ in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the FBI is not at this time seeking proposals/quotes and will not accept unsolicited proposals/quotes. SCOPE Contractor shall facilitate the installation, termination, labeling, testing, and documentation of the facility cable plant and associated hardware. This includes cabling of classified and unclassified network system(s), telephone, CATV, and low voltage for access control and intrusion detection. Work shall include provisioning and installing support infrastructure for the cable plant in communication rooms and closets. SECURITY Contractor shall have an active Defense Security Service (DSS) Facility Clearance Level (FCL) at the TS level. Individuals will need an active TS clearance that can be passed to the FBI to adjudicate. NOTE: Failure in this area will eliminate you from the competition during the source selection process. OBJECTIVE: The responses to this RFI will be utilized to identify potential and eligible sources - both small and large businesses are invited to participate. Teaming arrangements are encouraged. It is the intent of the FBI to establish Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with companies that specialize in providing Cable Install services. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated date of award is on/or about September 25, 2022. The anticipated contract period of performance is for 60 months (12-month base with four one-year option periods). CONTRACT TYPE: The FBI anticipates a Firm-Fixed Price Level-of-Effort (IAW FAR 16.207) and Cost Reimbursable (for travel, material and insurance if required).� RESPONSES: Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with a capability statement per the attachment.
