- This notice is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.101(a)(2). The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Evergreen Fire Alarms (EFS), LLC (CAGE 1XMK2) of 2111 South 90th Street, Tacoma, Washington. This requirement is for delivery and installation of the following: Replacement and upgrade of an access control system to Bldg.67. EFS shall provide: �All necessary MDI control equipment, associated power supplies, and enclosures. �One (1) card reader with keypad �One (1) BMS door sensor. �New conduit pathways shall be installed from door location to electrical room housing control equipment. �Subcontracting for electrical and lock installation. EFS completed a site survey identifying the required material needed to replace the Bldg. 67 Access Control and Alarm Systems, which includes materials, installation (labor) and travel. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Evergreen Fire Alarms, LLC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621 and the business size standard is $22,000,000. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however, any responsible source may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement after consideration of all responses to this notice is solely within the Government�s discretion.
