Description

The 49th Contracting Squadron awarded a sole-source purchase to Rescue Phone, Inc. cage code�09UP4, address: 8280 Patuxent Range Rd Ste B Jessup, MD 20794-8606 United States, for the purchase of The Rescue Phone QUAD Crisis Response Module, in accordance with quote from Rescue Phone, Inc. dated 11 April 2022. This product will be use by the 49th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) at Holloman AFB. Based on the Governments reserach,�The Rescue Phone QUAD Crisis Response Module from Rescue Phone, Inc. was awarded this contract becasue�(A) Other companies do not meet salient characteristics.�(B) SFS works parallel with the FBI during crisis responses, Rescue Phone is the same company the FBI uses. It is also the equipment all our personnel are trained on by the FBI. 49 SFS need the same system to ensure compatibility and no lapse in negotiations.� This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source, to Rescue Phone, Incorporated under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2).
