Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED PRICE REQUIREMENT UNDER THE SAT. THIS NOTICE IS UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), ONLY ONE SOURCE BEING AVAILABLE TO MEET GOVERNMENT NEEDS.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. NAICS Code 511210, Software Publishers; business size standard is $41.5M. The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Ft Sam Houston, TX intends to issue a sole source award to Dicom Systems Inc., for the renewal of license for the DICOM System software. The award will be executed by means of other than full and open competition, due to the need to maintain commonality and compatibility with the current system. The objective of this sole source award is to procure DICOM Systems software renewal which supports dental x-ray workflow which allows for dental readiness to be completed and updated. DICOM Systems Unifier & VNA are PACS servers that allow dental x-rays to be received from DENTACS worldwide and stored in a single repository. DICOM Systems only authorize 3rd party resellers to resell DICOM System software licenses, but they are not authorized to provide annual license renewals or technical support services on behalf of DICOM Systems Inc. This support is only available from DICOM Systems, Inc. directly. All interested sources may submit a capability statement that identifies business size, along with authorized letter from manufacturer with detail information and convincing evidence that clearly demonstrate the authority to provide DICOM Systems software renewal as outline above.
