- Description
- The AFLCMC Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) Directorate, SOF and Personnel Recovery Division, Special Warfare Contracting (SW) Branch (AFLCMC/WISK) plans to procure a multi-role, scalable, lightweight litter system. This is a brand name requirement for a quantity of 62 MATBOCK Lightweight Integrated Field Transport (LIFT) lift/ladder systems that will be procured through the Special Warfare Multiple Agency Contract (SW-MAC). This procurement is within the SW-MAC scope and ceiling. This lift/ladder system is the only system that meets the government requirements based on the salient characteristics listed below: The lift/ladder system must be scalable, lightweight, and have multi-role functionality; the entire system should not weigh more than 14lbs 12.1 oz. The system material should be abrasion resistant, water-repellant, and easily decontaimated of biological or chemical hazards in a CBRN environment; Combat carbon poles (P/N: AMTC-K1206-BL) (2 per set) should weigh no more than 2lbs 9oz, and should be no longer than 7.5ft; poles must be able to be configured into a multipurpose/multi-role tool for use with the kit items listed below; Soft litter (P/N: AMTC-C1207-FG) weight no more than 10oz, not longer than 6.5ft, a rolled footprint of 9"" x 4.5"" x 2"",,� with a minimum carrying capacity of 400lbs.; Rigid litter (P/N: AMTC-K1272-MC) with carbon poles weighing 5.5lbs, not longer than 6.5ft, with a minimum carrying capacity of 400lbs; must include inflatable air bladder to support head and align spine; must be easily assembled by one person Ladder system (P/N: 490050) with carrying bag (P/N: C1368-MC) weigh no more than 4.975lbs, not longer than 7.5ft, a footprint less than 3"" x 3"" x 12"" and minimum capacity of 400lbs; Coupler (P/N: 490029) for extending length of the combat carbon poles weighing 5.5oz, not longer than 8 inches; Jungle litter (P/N: K1332-CY) weighing 12 oz., not longer than 6.5ft., a footprint less than 6"" x 5.5""x 1.5"", with a minimum carrying capacity of 400lbs. A determination by the Government whether to consider other alternatives based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining the suitability of alternatives. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement. All information submitted should support the respondent�s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost of obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation. The Government shall consider responses that are received not later than the response period stated in this notice.
