Description

NOI-NIAID-2123652 NAICS � 811310 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT (EXCEPT AUTOMOTIVE AND ELECTRONIC) REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE - WITH BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD OF $8M. This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal.� The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Imaging Service Solutions LLC, Baltimore, MD to dismantle and removal of the Philips MD Eleva C-Arm X-ray system from a decontaminated BSL4 laboratory setting.� This equipment has been previously decommissioned, but the system is still located on the cold (decontaminated) side of the BSL-4 laboratory space. NIAID requires the dismantle and removal of this instrument to make space for the new preclinical imaging equipment. Vendor must be qualified to work in a highly contained and restricted area to perform such tasks. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 (a) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.� All responsible sources that could provide comparable services may submit a capability statement that will be considered by email (subject line to reference NOI-NIAID-2123652) to Jesse Weidow at jesse.weidow@nih.gov, by 1:00 pm eastern standard time Wednesday May 4th, 2022.� All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
