Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Horiba Instruments Incorporated, 20 Knightsbridge Rd, Piscataway, NJ, 08854-3913. The requirement is to provide the following items: 1ea � 57000023491 (HS-LASER-4F) � Hand scope LASER 4 Wavelength Ultra-Portable LASER based Alternate Light Source For use as a Crime Scene and Laboratory Unit One hand operation Electronic control of wavelength and intensity selection. 4 wavelengths total: LED: UV(365) / LASER: 445nm-525nm-CSS (Crime Scene Search) Delivered with complete set of accessories: - AC power supply, - 1 Batteries for operation on the crime scene, - 110-220 VAC charger for battery, - 1 set of 3 pairs of goggles (WH, YW, OR), - 1 set of camera filters: yellow, and orange - Manual - Rugged carrying case. The NAICS code is 339113 and the authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12.� THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.� If no affirmative written responses are received by 0700 am EST on 6 May 2022, award will be made without further notice. �Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
