- Kaibab National Forest - Crazy Cow Pit Crush and Stockpile 1.Introduction. The USDA Forest Service, Kaibab National Forest, has a requirement for a New Pit andCrush and Stockpile. Crazy Cow Crush and Stockpile Project: This project will include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, drilling, blasting, sampling and testing, stockpile surveying for quality control and crushing and stockpiling of an aggregate material in accordance with the plans and specifications. Payment for contract work will be made only for and under those pay items included in the Schedule of Items. All other work and materials will be considered as incidental to and included in the payment for items shown. 2.Type of Award. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-PriceConstruction Contract using FAR 15 Request for Proposal (RFP) Best Value format. This is a 100% SmallBusiness Set Aside to code 212319 (SBA Size: 500 employees or less) is the maximum size standard toqualify as small business. PSC code F011. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, potential vendors, at time of award, need to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/content/home . 3.Basis for Award � Best Value-Tradeoffs � See Section M (last section of this document). 4.How to submit your offer. Submit RFP pages 3 through 7, and Section K, as your business (scheduleof items) proposal. In a separate document, submit all the information requested in Section M as yourtechnical proposal. Deadline for submission of offers shall be June 7, 2022, 9:00 am PDT�(Pacific Daylight Time � This matches time zone in advertisement in SAM). Responses to the RFQ shall be sent to the Contracting Officer. Response packages should be sent by email and should contain the Solicitation Number (127EAX22R0016) in the subject line for the email.
