- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).��This procurement is set aside for Total Small Business. The NAICS code is 541620 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 Million.� The Angeles National Forest will be implementing multiple fuels reduction, forest health and reforestation projects across the Angeles National Forest from 2022-2023. Project work will include reducing fuels across the Forest, maintaining fuel breaks around threatened communities, removing invasive weeds, and reforesting areas that burned too severely to regenerate naturally. The Angeles National Forest is seeking qualified contractors to provide rare plant and invasive plant survey and vegetation assessment services in support of multiple fuels reduction projects located across the forest.� The Contractor shall identify which efforts and materials they can supply in terms of materials, labor, equipment, supplies, supervision, quality control, and incidentals required to complete the work described. The Contractor shall perform all work in a safe and conscientious manner.� The contractor has the responsibility for all data collection and reports that will be used as the basis for deliverables resulting from the task order. The Forest Service retains approval authority for these documents.� All federal and state rules and regulations will be followed as well as appropriate federal agency jurisdictional guidelines unique to each agency. If interested in this project, please provide a bid that includes approach, work experience, and cost. Please also include your capacity for this project and efficiency in providing pre-work rare plant surveys and assessments. Submission must be received not later than May 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM Pacific�via email at cree.prevost@usda.gov. Late submissions will be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f).� Amendment 0001 incorporates Exhibits A and B and clarifies period of performance.
