Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for market research purposes only and should not be interpreted as a requests for proposal, bid, or quote.� The U.S. Air Force 460th Contracting Squadron at Buckley SFB, CO is conducting market research to identify sources for a Fiber Pull. The Government will use the responses to this sources sought announcement to make appropriate acquisition decisions for this potential requirement. Responses are to be sent via email to 1st Lt Derique Parmer at derique.parmer.1@spaceforce.mil NLT 1:30 PM MST, 11 May 2022.� Please include the Sources Sought Notice Identification Number or title in the subject line of the email submission. Description of Requirement: Pulling (1) continuous 24 � -strand Single Mode OS2 I/O plenum Fiber Optic cable from Bldg. 430 closet 120 to Bldg. 447 closet S1232. Additionally, pulling (1) continuous 8-strand Single Mode OS2 indoor fiber optic cable from Bldg. 447 closet S123 to Bldg. 447 closet S122. The 8-strand fiber optic cable in Bldg. 447 closet S123 will be accessible to the same fiber LIU as the 24-strand fiber optic cable within Bldg. 447 closet S123. Fiber will have a 50� service loop in existing manhole. 2.2. Single-mode Fiber patch cabling in Bldg. 430 closet 120 and Bldg. 447 closet S122 will be spliced from rack mount LIU to end-user equipment and terminated to correspond to the end-user equipment requirements. will be spliced to LC pigtails �Primary 24-strand fiber optic cabling will be and terminated in a new rack mount fiber LIUs in Bldg. 430 closet 120 and Bldg. 447 closet S123. The 8-strand fiber optic cabling , and in closet S122will be terminated in new rack mount fiber LIU in Bldg. 447 closet S122, in rack identified by the Customer.. Terminations will be compliant to the corresponding connections within existing rRacks and cabinets, and compliant to the corresponding equipment the fiber optic cables are connecting to are existing. 2.3. There will be a 25� service loop in both closets. 2.4. A 2IN 3Cell Maxcell innerduct will be placed in the 4� conduit between Bldg. 430 and thru the manhole for the 2412-strand fiber optic cable from Bldg. 430 (Room 120) to Bldg. 447 Core Node (Rroom 030) and terminate all connections. Additionally, run an 8- strand fiber optic cable from Bldg. 447 room S-123 to room S-122 and terminate the connections. All terminations will be compliant to the corresponding equipment it is connecting to. 2.5. Specific fiber optic cable transit routes through Bldgs. 430 and 447 corresponding with the requirements listed in Para. 2. will be identified during site survey(s) between Customer and Vendor.
