- Sources Sought for Potential Repair and/or Overhaul Vendors for HC130J Oil Cooler Assembly Part Number: 697997-1 or IMI-Marston D2591-10A The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is conducting market research to determine if any repair and/or overhaul facilities/vendors are available.� This is not a solicitation announcement.� This is a sources sought notice only.� This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract or order.� The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of any commercially available repair and/or overhaul vendors that may be of interest to the USCG.� The USCG is looking for repair and/or overhaul facilities that can repair and/or overhaul the HC130J oil cooler and possibly develop engineering data to accomplish repair and/or overhaul. The repair and/or overhaul facility is required to be an FAA, OEM, or USAF certified repair and/or overhaul facility that is registered with the Defense Logistics Services Center. The vender must have access to the most current repair and/or overhaul manuals and drawing required for this material. Verification will be requested prior to the award of any work.� Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact (POC), cage code, repair and/or overhaul capabilities, certifications, and etc. Which will allow the USCG to understand your full capabilities.��� Please respond to the following questions: What is your business size? If small, please provide the small business classification(s). Are you services listed on a GSA schedule? Do you have other government agencies using your repair and/or overhaul facility? If so, which agencies provide POC�s and contract numbers? After the review of the responses to this sources sought notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the repairs and/or overhauls, a solicitation announcement will be published on www.Sam.gov. Responses to this sources sought notice are not adequate response to any future solicitation announcement. All interested offers will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. Again, this is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract or order. All companies that can meet the specification are encouraged to provide a capability statement, company literature, brochures, or any other information that demonstrates that the specification can be met. Responses to this sources sought notice along with any capability statements, company literature, brochures shall be emailed to Janah N. Hassell at Janah.N.Hassell@uscg.mil or Commanding Officer, Aviation Logistics Center, Heavy Maintenance Facility, Elizabeth City, NC 27909, ATTN: Janah N. Hassell. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 18 May 2022 1:00 p.m. EST. Firms responding to this announcement that fail to provide all of the required information cannot be used to help the Government make the appropriate contract decisions which is the intent of this sources sought notice. This notice is to help the USCG in determining potential sources only. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. All interested parties must respond to any solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought notice are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offers list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests.
