- Description
- The requirement will be sole sourced to Nalco Company, 4270 Ivy Point Blvd. Cincinnati OH 43201. Nalco Company will provide chemical water treatment to the boiler and chiller plants using the installed Nalco 3D Trasar Technology Treatment System. The Nalco 3D Trasar Technology Treatment System is proprietary equipment using a proprietary chemistry blend that is specifically customized for the Boiler and Chiller Plant at the Lexington VAMC per the Statement of Work and based on the needs and layout of the facility. Due to the current installation of the Nalco system and the inability to install another type of treatment system due to space limitations at the facility and to include the risk of systems damages and possible pathogen development during downtime of monitoring and treatment during change-over. Therefore, it is not reasonable or responsible to remove and replace the current treatment system. This service will be Sole Sourced to Nalco Company. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), soliciting from a single source.
