Description

Amended the city location from Omak to Nespelem in the first paragraph.� The Colville Service Unit of the Indian Health Service in Nespelem, Washington, intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract for utility services to City of Omak for the entire Colville Service Unit, which only includes the Omak Clinic. The acquisition is conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items (41 U.S.C. 3305, 3306, and Chapter 37); FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (41 U.S.C. 1906, 1907, and 3307), FAR 37.101, Non-Personal Services Contract, and FAR Part 41, Acquisition of Utility Services. The Contractor, City of Omak is the sole company uniquely authorized to provide the needed utility services to ensure that there are no service interruptions that could impact direct patient care. This is not a request for competitive proposals; it is primarily a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. There will be no request for competitive quotes available. Any submissions to this notice must provide compelling evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The contract will be granted without further notice if no affirmative written response is received no later than�11:00 A.M Pacific Daylight Time on May 12, 2022. The Government has sole discretion in determining whether or not to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice. The information you provide will be used solely to determine whether or not a competitive procurement will be conducted in the future. All vendors have been notified that if their responses are not received by the date and time specified in this notice, they will not be considered. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 221310, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems � small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
