Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N3904022PSE2142. This requirement incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2022-06 (Effective 05/01/2022) and DFARS Change Notice 20220428 (Effective 04/28/2022). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far and https://www.acquisition.gov/dfars The NAICS code is 333611. The small business size standard is 1,500 Employees. The Government intends to negotiate and award the resulted contract on a SOLE SOURCE basis to Curtiss-Wright EMC. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) is tasked to restore and upgrade the Secondary Propulsion Unit Rotary Deployment Mechanism (RDM); which includes the Training Motor and Rotary Joint on a Virginia class submarine at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. The Period of Performance is 02/01/2023 - 12/01/2023.
