- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New England District is issuing a set aside for a certified small business contract for the Standby Generator Installation and Electrical Upgrades at the Hodges Village Dam located in Oxford, MA. The NAICS code for the work described below is 238210 (Size Standard $16.5M). The project is planned to be issued in June 2022 and will be set aside for Small Businesses. The period of performance will extend for 12-months starting in late summer or early fall of 2022. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Any responsible source meeting this standard may submit a bid to be considered by the New England District. This project has the following major components: Installing a new diesel standby generator. Coordinating with National Grid to install a new underground service connection. Constructing underground concrete duct bank, utility vaults, and concrete equipment pads. Selective upgrades to existing electrical systems and equipment to comply with NFPA 70. Please note that this solicitation is set aside for certified small businesses. This is not a request for proposals at this time; the solicitation requirements and contract documents which will include instructions for submission and the response date will be available on or about June 2022. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to view the solicitation offerors must access the System for Award Management website (www.sam.gov). In order to download the solicitation, offerors must access the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (https://piee.eb.mil/).
