- SUBJECT: Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) Contract 11A, Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) A-2 Reservoir Foundation & Cutoff Wall Project, Palm Beach County, Florida --W912EP22R0005 A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Thursday, 30 June 2022 from�10:00am - 11:00am, EST via teleconference. Description of Work The Jacksonville District has a new requirement for Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) Contract 11A, Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) A-2 Reservoir Foundation & Cutoff Wall Project, located in Palm Beach County. The Scope of Work for this project includes the following features: Clearing, grubbing, de-mucking, blasting, foundation preparation, installation of a seepage cutoff wall, canal backfilling, and all incidental related work to prepare approximately 15.3 miles of foundation for a 17.3 miles-long embankment dam, to be constructed under separate contract within the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA).� The approximate toe to toe width of the foundation is 260 feet in the north, east, and west; and 235 feet in the south.� Dewatering will be required to control the groundwater and conduct work in the dry in accordance with contract specifications.� All lands for this project are owned by the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and provided to the USACE for construction of these project features. The estimated period of performance is 2,044 calendar days after issue of Notice�to Proceed with 60 days to commence performance after award. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to�the government utilizing best value source selection procedures. Proposals will�be evaluated in the areas of Technical Merit, Past Performance, Small Business�Participation, and Price. The rough order of magnitude is $250,000,000 and $500,000,000. NAICS 237990 Size�Standard $39,500,000. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE�ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. The solicitation will be issued on or about Monday, 13 June 2022 with a response date a�minimum of 30 days after issuance. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the sam.gov website. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the sam.gov website. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation.
