- Purpose: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing a sources sought notice pursuant to FAR Part 10�Market Research for a contemplated multiple award indefinite contracting vehicle (IDV) for the Federal Orphaned Well Program on behalf of the Department of the Interior and Department of Agriculture. This specific posting is for plugging and abandonment services required for the Federal Orphaned Well Program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated to be assigned to this requirement is 213112 � Support Activities for Oil and Gas Operations with a size standard of $41.5M. The estimated IDV ceiling may be up to $150M per contract. The government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a small business or other socio-economic small business set-aside for the solicitation. Additional Information: Various attachments, including a Statement of Objectives, are included with this posting with additional information about this requirement. All documentation is considered to be in DRAFT format and has been provided for comment. Comments received may be used to make corrections, revisions, and/or other requirement changes depending on the nature and type of information received. Cost Reimbursement: Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Industry Day/Information Exchange: The BLM intends to hold an Industry Day for the purpose of interactively exploring capabilities available within the industry for a full range of plugging and abandonment services. BLM seeks to gain information that will facilitate an effective and efficient acquisition process for the required services, create business partnerships, and incorporate best practices of the industry community beneficial to meeting the goals of this project. The virtual Industry Day for this requirement will be held on June 22, 2022 from 9 AM MT through 10:30 AM MT. Following the Industry Day event, a listing of participants and presentation materials will be made publicly available. Registration/Submission Instructions: The Government will not review general capability statements. Registration is required for Industry Day attendance, and the event link will be provided upon completion.
