- INTRODUCTION Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is issuing the following sources sought synopsis/ request for information (RFI) on behalf of the Communication and Engineering Command (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources with an interest in, and the industry technologies available, to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement(s) for Collins Aerospace AN/PRC-162 radio(s). The result(s) of this market research will help determine procurement method(s), if a procurement materializes. Any procurement(s) may be sole-sourced, set aside for small business (in full or in part), or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories may be considered.�Multiple awards may be made. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted, and feedback will not be provided. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS/ RFI IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. PROGRAM BACKGROUND CECOM ILSC SAMD supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procurements of Army Standard Configuration aircrafts, avionics equipment, radars, radios, and ancillary support and equipment. The intent of this Sources Sought/ RFI is to assess the availability of technology that could be leveraged to meet the requirement(s). Non-Developmental Item. The item should be a non-developmental to the maximum extent possible. Qualification. Contractor(s) must be qualified and demonstrate compliance to ISO 9001-2008 certified. Proof of qualification should be addressed in the response. Maintenance, Inspection and Repair. Minimal maintenance and inspection requirements at the organizational level. Item(s) should be easily repairable for deployed units. Registration. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR)/ System for Award Management (SAM). ELIGIBILITY The closest applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334220 �Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing�. � The closest applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is 5810 �Communications Security Equipment and Components�. SUBMISSION DETAILS Interested contractors should submit a brief capabilities package (not more than ten 8.5 X 11-inch electronic pages, font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to provide the item(s) listed in this technical description. Documentation should be in bullet format.
