- Pre-Solicitation Notice General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting quotes for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: HVAC System replacement in the Dean House at Lincoln Home National Historic Site, in Springfield, IL. Solicitation Number 140P6222Q00017 The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Description: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to decommission, dispose of and replace three (3) existing furnaces, three (3) condensing units, three (3) existing line sets, and three (3) evaporator coils. This includes plenums, filter boxes, and all other associated ductwork necessary to retrofit the new units Type of Acquisition: The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that would result in a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this project is 238220 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is advertised as a Total Small Business Set Aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.sam.gov on or about late-June 2022. Search by referencing the solicitation number (140P6222Q0017) and/or by the agency (National Park Service). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE. Requirement documents will be available for download in one or a combination of, the following formats: Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF. Specifications and drawings will be available in Adobe PDF format. Free downloads of Adobe ""reader"" software are available at www.adobe.com. Potential quoters will be required to visit either website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notifications will be sent. All responsible Small Business concerns may submit a quote that will be considered. It is anticipated that a site visit will be scheduled soon after the solicitation is issued. Specific details regarding this meeting will be provided in the solicitation or via amendment, once posted. Quotes will be due approximately 30 days following the issuance of the solicitation, once posted. Electronic submissions, via email, of proposals are preferred.
