Description
QUESTIONS RECEIVED FROM VENDORS: 1. QUESTION: Our technician was at a site visit the other day and he believes he was told by the POC that the work needed to be completed within ten days. This information doesn't seem accurate. Completing this work in ten days would be near impossible. Can you please clarify? Perhaps a portion of the work needs to be completed within ten days and if yes which portion? ANSWER: Per Section 10. HOURS OF OPERATION in the solicitation Statement of Work: 10. HOURS OF OPERATION: Normal hours of coverage are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays however, all service/repairs will be performed 60% during late shift estimated to be between 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm and 40% during day shift defined as 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Weekend work shall be done on day shift 7:00 am-4:30 pm unless otherwise requested or approved by COR or his/her authorized designee. All work must be completed within 80 hours (ten calendar days) of starting work. Regarding which portion, please see answer to question 3 below. 2. QUESTION: Can we use gas powered equipment for this project? ANSWER: Gas powered equipment is not permitted to be used. 3. QUESTION: The Price schedule indicates a base year a 4 option years but the work is broken into 3 sections, how does that work? ANSWER: A portion of the work needs to be completed annually and other portions are completed on a 3 year rotation. The schedule would look like this: Base Year: Annual Work + Schedule A Option Year 1: Annual Work + Schedule B Option Year 2: Annual Work + Schedule C Option Year 3: Annual Work + Schedule A Option Year 4: Annual Work + Schedule B
