Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Division, on behalf of the U.S. Army Development Command (DEVCOM) Soldier Center, intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements � ANSYS Mechanical Enterprise -Lease. The ANSYS Mechanical Enterprise Software Lease by ANSYS provides specific finite element analysis and structural tools required for two high visibility projects within the Soldier Protection Directorate (SPD), Soldier Clothing & Configuration Management Team.� The items are as follows: Qty: 1 ANSYS Mechanical Enterprise- Lease This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Natick Division is anticipating awarding this contract to ANSYS, Inc., located at 2600 ANSYS Drive, Canonsburg, PA. ANSYS, Inc. is the only company that provides the required software.� A Firm-Fixed-Price contract will be issued. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, and quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210 (size standard is $41.5 million). Required Period of Performance is one (1) year after date of award.� Software will be delivered within 60 days of contract award. ���� Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price, and past performance. Each is equally important.� Offers should include price and Period of Performance and the following additional information: CAGE Code.� Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award.
